Each given date will be the start of that week’s reading period, which is probably also when you can expect the most discussion on that week’s material.

Yeah, to be precise, the dates given are the period during which we will be talking about the reading. If you’ve already done the reading by the time the period starts, more power to ye, but for myself I usually start the reading on the first day of that week.

Dang, I think I’ll be a bit late to the readings here. Ordered my book 3 weeks ago, but estimated arrival is the start of July

I’d like to join everyone with reading this. This will be my first dive into a untranslated manga, as well as my first round of participating with one of the book clubs here. I have a question, though, how does scheduling work? Do I just make sure to read the chapter on the given day? Is there a agreed upon time we all follow?
We start reading, for example, on 22nd of June, so that means I create a weekly thread for it where you can ask questions:3 And then you have a full week to read the chapters, but you always can come back to ask questions even if you’re late:3

Oh, okay, thanks. I was thinking there was some sort of “active” time to be in the thread. Like, it was gonna be ‘live’ at a certain time.
No, the specified week is the time in which we focus on the chapter, but it’s still just a regular forum thread - people post whenever they happen to be on. Some groups sometimes have a Discord chat a specified time, but I’ve never tried that out, so I’m not entirely sure what it’s like.
(For that matter, the threads don’t get closed when we start the next chapter either, so you can still come back to it whenever and ask more questions or post more comments.)

Anyone know if buying this book on kindle has a currency change fee?
I’m in Australia, and I don’t get a fee with Kindle purchases.
Though I use my Amazon Japan account to buy Kindle books, which might be why.
My book just came through the mail!!! I’m so ready for this club

I already had the book in my shelf for a few years now and am looking forward to finally start it with you guys! 
Still have to finish the last chapters of しろくまカフェ first, though. Luckily, we have an official holiday today and I also took a day off tomorrow. I hope I’ll have enough time to keep up with the pace until the end this time…

Otherwise, I think it would be against the forums ToS or something.
I know there are legal places you can get the book for free, but not just a site with a bunch of free manga. .-. (Unless you download it temporarily)
You are correct. Although most of the eBook sites on the first post already have samples.
I’d recommend checking eBookJapan from time to time, I got the book for free there.
Deleted the post just in case, looking at the rest of the site, it looks pretty sketchy on the copyright front! Thanks for the heads up
