Our party stopped to observe some monkeys, which- タタタタタタ -wait, did anyone hear that?- タタタタタタ -is that? It can’t be! The sound of running ostrich feet when being ridden by a tiny blue crocodile?? It seems a new party member @Violencio is approaching! But there’s no time to sit and dilly dally around in the savannah, so we’d better forge ahead and leave a new trail of pretzel wrappers behind…

Your drawing is so awesome. I think the short sections of this book are super approachable to beginners too, so that’s great to hear! It’s kind of fun to learn all the animal vocabulary too.

Running from a leopard seems like a very, very bad choice. It’s going to end badly for us. So I’m staying still.

why is there never a “pet the friend shaped fluffy animal”
very disappointed with my travel agent, and I paid for this experience … pfft!
welp given I’m deathly allergic to cats, probably allergic to this one too so don’t need to run over and pet it, but wonder if I tried to run away it might chase us for a little bit and if we stopped we could turn around and pet him/her/it? and boop it’s nose 
of course given cats = murder mittens, we are probably SOL no matter what choice we pick… kitty is gonna pyon up the tree one pyon at a time anyway …
we only have to be faster than the slowest monkey don’t we? 
or is there an option to sacrifice a monkey so we can escape 
hmm or maybe an ostrich can chase it away or hop on the kittys back, they have tough claws 
are we waiting for the ostrich to catch up, I thought I heard a タタタ…but could just be some nearby cannibals drumming away

Oof, this is a tough one. On the one hand, the monkeys must be experts at dealing with leopards since they live here, and I’ve never had to deal with a leopard once. So maybe we should follow their lead? But then, on the other hand, maybe if we hide behind the tree, it’ll get distracted by the monkeys and climb the tree, then we can run away…

Funny thing, I have pet and elephant before as a kid! But of course must pet all the animals - we paid for this experience after all…
sadly the pet option isn’t there, so if we climb the tree when it walks by we can jump on it’s back
