I actually really liked the fight scenes in the SAO light novel 
That being said, I haven’t read that many light novels, so maybe it’s quite common.

Well, I found that number was deceptive. There’s not even half of that number for frequency 2 words…
It is harder to read than Kino, but not crazily so. (But yes, there’s no hurry anyway:p)

So on page 125 everyone is screaming 殺せ, but there’s one いてまえ thrown in. We were discussing this in the Sunday reading session and we concluded that it’s also the same as 殺せ (or close enough to it) in 関西弁 or maybe specifically 大阪 (not 100% sure on the dialect). However, we wanted to know if the てまえ or まえ part was a general thing in a specific dialect, not just a one-off thing for this word. Does anyone know?

It’s the imperative form of いてまう, which is itself the 大阪弁 version of いってしまう

It used to be a thing, but now ちゃう is more popular.

Q1 pg 115, first line
目の前の人殺しに興奮しきった観客で。。。
What is しきった? Is it 頻る? (They’re getting excited really hard)? I’m not sure because it says it attaches to ます stem but here it’s attaching directly to 興奮 instead of being 興奮し + しきった.
Q2 pg 123, line 10
弾丸はトロンボーンの先端に当たり、その向きを右へと強制的に変えた。
What is その referring to, the bullet or the trombone? Is the whole sentence saying that the bullet forced the trombone to the right, or that the trombone made the bullet go off to the right?
Q3 pg 124, last line
男は微動だにせずキノを睨みつけた。
Why is it 微動だにせず instead of just 微動せず?

My assumption for 124 at the time of reading was that it was the particle だに meaning “even”. I’ve never seen that before, so it was just a guess. But it seems to fit here.
微動だにせず = “without even the slightest movement”

That’s an expression. I think I’ve actually only ever seen だに in this expression, but I’ve seen it plenty. It means what @seanblue said.
Also: その refers to トロンボーンの先端, so the bullet bent the trombone.

Not sure how this happened but I read the whole thing in one sitting. Now I’m caught up for like a few hours. I guess this was at that sweet spot where difficulty and interest reach an equilibrium point so I found myself reading faster than usual.
And to think there were days I could barely make it two pages in one go…
