Glad to see the club is still running !
I’m really sad I had to drop, but it’s just so hard to start again after a while.
I’ll try to catch up with translated volumes, and see if I can find some time during the summer holidays.
We started the anime with my GF. Quite different from the manga (lots of fillers) but very cute.

I fell way behind, but was able to catch up during the Summer Solstice Readathon last weekend, so finally I’m back on pace with the club!
Also, the sidebar about Kaho during last week’s reading made me laugh out loud. Did I mistranslate, or did it really say that ‘what she was good at’ was getting lost?

I read a scantrad before reading the japanese version quickly catch up. The translater was clearly as confused as everyone by everything Kaho was saying.

Also a change of pace from the previous two cards; Maze and Vanish both caused a lot of trouble, but Glow was more like, “hey, come and get me”.

That’s something I really appreciate about CardCaptors – the cards aren’t really “monsters” in the traditional sense of beasts that want to kill you – they’re creatures/beings with their own motivations, and sometimes they’re perfectly friendly!
