I don’t get what this の is doing here?
It’s functioning as a placeholder, like “one” in English. For example 赤いの = the red one.
“I think I’m a Terra one, or a Planta one” (i.e. a witch).

What is this まる doing?
I suspect it’s a contraction of もある … (the guy speaks a bit of dialect after all

p147, ch42 – Any idea why they sometimes type words such as でかい (big) as デカい? The first two kana are katakana, but the last one is hiragana?? Seems like a strange convention to follow, and I don’t see a reason to, at least nothing obvious.
I took it to be a little big of emphasis on the word デカい. (Interesting to me, when I type 「でかい」 and press Space, the second result is 「デカい」.)
Here’s a video I just found on it. He mentions デカい about 4:45 into it.
