Also, I was wondering what そっくり means in ch27, and I saw it fan-translated as “pickups” :joy:

I am not completely sure, but my impression was that 「そっくり 」 is the name of the special (magical?) hiccup that Kei contracts. そっくり in japanese is an onomatopoeic word that usually means “exactly like; just like;”.

My understanding is that they called it 「そっくり 」because it gets attached to someone when they do something “exactly like” one of the conditions listed in Makoto’s book. At least that’s my interpretation of Makoto’s explanation in page 95 where she says:

その人の前日の行動の中で「そっくり」になる条件を満たしてしまうと
