Chinatsu is always so much fun, haha
Can you also dive into your bag up to the waist?
I found that quite impressive…
Mary Poppins makes a lot more sense when viewed through the lens of Flying Witch.

I’m a bit disappointed that Makoto chose the ointment. I’m sure there’s other fun stuff… at least explore all the options!!
Right!!! Why not try something new!
Last chapter of volume 5!

That was a fun chapter. I am so happy for Chinatsu, even though she was abusing her new abilities. I would have done the same, though ![]()
I am excited for the next volume!
One question please meow~
Page 157

I am not sure what Chinatsu means with 左手はそえただけ⁉
Any help is appreciated!
Could it be a Slam Dunk reference?

Yeah, the Vertical translation has an asterisked note saying “A Slam Dunk reference”.
Peak Chinatsu in this chapter. I just wonder what happened to Kei
Chinatsu is the best!!! I can’t wait to read the next volume!
ch27, p57 – と言いつつ気があったりするんでしょ
What is this つつ?
It means something like “while”. Here is an explanation:
In case anyone was wondering about the name of the book on p91: 儀式と身体の連鎖 (Ritual and Body Connection, I think).
Also, I was wondering what そっくり means in ch27, and I saw it fan-translated as “pickups”
Edit: Uhh, what is this - 笑っとる ? (ch27, p99)
笑っとる
笑っておる
笑っている
I am not completely sure, but my impression was that 「そっくり 」 is the name of the special (magical?) hiccup that Kei contracts. そっくり in japanese is an onomatopoeic word that usually means “exactly like; just like;”.
My understanding is that they called it 「そっくり 」because it gets attached to someone when they do something “exactly like” one of the conditions listed in Makoto’s book. At least that’s my interpretation of Makoto’s explanation in page 95 where she says:
その人の前日の行動の中で「そっくり」になる条件を満たしてしまうと
Phew, finally done with this volume!
Sad times
