The two word balloons for this are separate statements, so it can be looked at as:
「ダメになるから…」 (unfinished sentence)
and
「逆に…！」 (unfinished sentence)
On the previous page, Ayumu asks if she’s feeling better (after his barrage of compliments). Urushi says ダメになる, which has a few meanings. I could be wrong, as I’m not familiar with this wording yet, but based on the flow of the chapter, I took this to mean Urushi was starting to return to normal, but now she’s all flustered (rather than being back to normal), and thus 逆に, Ayumu had the opposite effect of trying to get her back to normal.
Edit: As an alternate, Urushi can be saying because (から) it’s gotten bad (ダメになる) (her being flustered), he’s had the reverse (逆) effect of trying to get her back to her normal self.
