Just to add a side note:
何をしますか? means “What are you going to do?”, so I was actually asking "what are you going to do (on your day off on Tuesday?)

If I was asking what you do for work, it would have been:
何のしごとをしていますか? (What do you do for work)?
Or
何をしていますか? literally means What are you doing, but it can imply to mean “What do you do for work?” depending on the context.
Japanese tenses works a bit differently than English so it’s a bit tricky and I’d say don’t worry too much about it for now, but I thought I’d mention it in case you may want to know.

きのうから三日は八月十五日です。
When it’s a lot of hiragana, I have a hard time distinguishing the words from the particles.
