「~なきゃ・~なければいけない」Question if this is redundant

Hi all,

Could someone let me know if there is any difference between these two sentences. Maybe nuance, urgency, etc… or if the use of 「~ていく」is redundant. I’ve personally never come across it, but I just thought about it and was wondering if it would ever be used like this.

  1. シャワーを浴びらなきゃ
  2. シャワーを浴びて行かなきゃ

Thanks!

1 = you should take a shower
2 = you should take a shower and go

So rather than it saying “You should go take a shower”, is it saying “you should take a shower… and then go (someplace)”?

浴びる is an ichidan verb, so this is 浴びなきゃ

Go take a shower would be ~しに行く grammar.

シャワーを浴びに行かなきゃ

I see! Thank you!
